Partnership with non Jews

Question:
Shalom Uveracha
There are three yidden of which two of us are shomrei shabbos and we are partners with two goyim. The yidden in total hold 60% of the shares in the company. The company operates on shabbos as we are in the venting industry of which many events happen through the weekend as well. Baruch Hashem most of the vents happen during the week as we cater mostly for corporate events.

What are the gedarim that I should be aware of:
a. shabbos
b. mezuzahs

Many thanks

Answer:

As long as the nature of the partnership is that all partners work equally at all times, the non Jew may be left to work on Shabbos [see Rama O:C 245:1]. If the partnership is such that the time is split between partners, the non Jew may not work on Shabbos as he would be considered  the agent of the Jew. A contract must be arranged by a Rav to permit this type of partnership.

A dwelling which is partnership between a Jew and non Jew is exempt from mezuza. Nevertheless, the custom is to place a mezuza without a bracha, as long as the mezuza is not in a place where it will be torn down and treated disrespectfully [see Shach Y:D 286:6,7].
